I doubt your sister will be ridiculously upset.. I know you were, but it seems to be a bit odd to be this upset over a bouquet. Your cousin is a bitch.. when your sister is old enough, she’ll see for herself.

Oh please let me know what she responded to the “Does this look fair to you?” pm you sent her!

She probably didn’t realize you had proof.

That’s really nuts. I’m guessing she’s a pretty sad and warped person to do that (and to harbour that kind of resentment towards your eight-year-old self for catching the bouquet).

@Payless:  I’m looking at this a bit differently than PPs.  And frankly, I think you’re being catty.  You should have a lot more compassion for your cousin!  Put yourself in her shoes: imagine being obligated to go to a family wedding for your much younger cousin, only to be forced to compete with an 8 year old in a bouquet toss.

You’re the one that sounds like the bully.  And then you complain about her online to a bunch of happily coupled women who agree that she’s too awful to ever get married (when lets face it half of them were lucky to find the one guy that could tolerate them).   Why don’t you rub her singledom into this poor woman’s face a little more, does it make you feel better about yourself?  I feel sorry for her, not your sister.

I think you’re all making it a way bigger deal than it needs to be.

Your cousin acted tacky. Okay, now move on. Don’t get a replica bouquet made for your sister, that is ridiculous. It’s a fun silly event at a wedding, the less you bring it up, the less importance you give it. Your sister won’t even REMEMBER it a month from now.

@Janielum:  I’m sorry but I disagree with your post.  A grown woman should never pull anything from a child’s hands in this kind of situation.  Ever.  The cousin acted heinously towards the bride’s little sister.  I fail to see why this crazy cousin deserves some kind of sympathy here.

@Miss Leopard:  yes this!

OP, it seems like you’re all a bit cooco for boquet tosses and that your sister is the sanest one.  Is your cousin crazy? hell yes.  Are you crazy? hell yes.  Your sister on the other hand seems to have the right attitude, it happened, whatever, good for her.

I think that buying your sister a replica bouquet is a very nice thing to do. She rightfully caught it, and should have had the pleasure of taking it home. Your cousin is messed up.

Did she ever reply to you after you sent her the picture?
