I’m so sorry!  I hope you get some answers soon and find relief.  I turned to meds a while back for depression and anxiety and I definitely had some side-effects to deal with too.  I found that adding alternative therapies to whatever else I was doing seemed to make the side-effects easier to manage and helped the original problem.  Accupuncture worked really for me.  Making sure I got out and made time for some exercise helped too.

I am asking this question seriously, not as a smarty pants: aren’t you in law school also?  Since I started school I have been stressed CONSTANTLY and it has affected my mood, energy level, weight, etc.  I only feel better when I don’t have 1,500 things hanging over my head every day.

@jouissance:  nice!  You did better than I! lol.  Have you taken any other medications like wellbutrin?  How many different types of bcps have you tried?

Funny you should post this becasue I am really thinking I have an issue with my thyroid. I have been feeling tired, run down, insomnia, I have heart palpitations & a list of other symptoms that seem to indicate an issue with my thyroid. Only difference is I can’t relate this to a BCP. I have a doctor appt. on Monday and I hope to have answers and hopefully some medication soon because I feel miserable. Good luck to you & I hope all goes well and you feel better soon.
