@Creative4ABride:

I hope your dress turn out okay as mine is not!  I don’t mean to scare or worry you but me too ordering an evening dress to use as my wedding dress from the website.  Then I read other reviews and got freak out and almost cancelled my order.  Then I think oh well it couldn’t go wrong because my dress is so simple.  Then the estimated shipping arrived and not shipment yet so I contact them and they offer either full refund or 30% off the selling price and then they will start processing my dress.  At first I wanted a full refund (hey the chance come why not?!) and then my Fiance talked me into giving them a chance!  So I did!  About 3 days later the dress was shipped and I got it yesterday!  To my disappointment, first, it’s supposed to have a sew in belt but it didn’t!  Second, I orderd customized size but it’s way too big on me!  I have to gain another 15 lbs to fit that dress!  So I email them back regarding the problem so they wrote me back with 4 options.  1. get $100 couple toward next order 2. local alteration and they will offer 50% compensate of the dress price 3. return and get a refund (don’t say how many %) 4. Exchange.  What upset me the most is they have more message at the bottom to discourage you not to return and just keep the dress!  So I just wrote them back that if I return the dress, I will expect a full refund as my dress i not as described.  I’ve read their policy that you have to wait like 2 billing cycle to get your money back.  Sorry for venting here.  I need to return the dress and I have to start dress shopping again.  My dress is $229 + Shipping so it’s about $254 and I have to pay extra about $84 for duties and tax and DHL fee coming to Canada.  So if they’re behind on your order, maybe it’s wiser just to cancel it and get a full refund.  Just my advice from my mistake!

Hoping it works out for you. Let us know when you get it. I am debating about a reception dress for my August 2013 wedding, because my lace ballgown tends to be heavy. I haven’t decided if I should get a reception dress yet or not though.

@Nat_can:  I ordered little things, it wasn’t perfect, they offered a full refund (it was like $30) and told me not to bother sending it back….I had the refund within days.  I know a dress is different, but my point was that the refund came through promptly, and they do seem to offer several options to rectify the situation if it isn’t right – they don’t want negative feedback left.

@78science:

I hope that can be my case too.   Yes they offer 4 options but none of that really help me much except return for a refund (I hope they mean full refund).  I checked the price for shipping the dress back to China is like $84 so even if I get a full refund, with all shipping I paid them to here and DHL fee (I expect to be able to claim back duty, and taxes) and the shipping cost back, it will cost me for more than $100.  I guess that’s my lesson learned.

Sorry to make you feel nervous!  I saw plenty of good reviews as well here in this board (you can searh it though – I saw some people posted their actual dresses which fit them really good).  That kind of ease my mind as well at that moment when I saw all those picture.  I’ll returning the dress in a day or two and then I can let you know how helpful they are.  I think they’re late on my dress and they didn’t want to have to give the dress for free (because if they’re 10 days late, customer can still request to have the dress process with only the cost of shipping) so they’re in a hurry and didn’t do my dress correctly.

That’s really weird that they didn’t answer. I sent in a question and had a response the same day. My dress would have shipped by now but I gave them a wrong measurement (on the hollow-to-floor for custom sizing). They could tell it was wrong and contacted me first, which I was impressed by. I can’t wait until it comes though!
