Edible favours are the best. I also think flower seeds are cute. Less keen on the keychain and the magnet… I have lots of keychains and magnets already, so I’m not a fan.

@gorusticorgohome:  I’ve had ppl on here tell me my favors are awful, pretty much just bc they aren’t edible. And guess what – I dont care! Haha! We are giving away custom CDs that we made. We are considered music buffs (aka hipsters lol) amoung our friends and are always turning ppl on to new music, so it fits us perfectly. I designed the cases and inserts and he did the playlist.

The point I’m trying to make – you picked out your favors for a reason. You know your friends and family better than we do. And absolutely no one cares as much about your favors as you do! They aren’t like an intregal part of your reception. A wedding I went to recently didn’t have any at all, and I didn’t even realize it till I got home. I wouldn’t have realized it at all if I wasn’t planning a wedding!

I ADORE the magnets! I’d be tempted to take a lot of them, or steal them from others. I really like magnets, and I really like wine so I think it’s a great combo!

I think what you have already is enough, so I wouldn’t add anything more. Take the bags and pre-fill them and leave them in a basket or something, or have one at each place setting at the table. You may still have some left at the end of the night, tho….just be prepared.

The magnets are cute. We have a 4yr so our fridge is completely covered in art & pictures. Love getting new magnets. I probably wouldn’t use the keychain or the seeds but it’s a cute idea. I’d probably go with an edible favor or wine bottle stoppers (something people can eat or use). I hosted a bridal shower at a vineyard & gave them as the favor it was a huge hit.

Key chain: I would toss or just not take.  I don’t use keychains and especially ones that make me look like the wino I am.

Magnet: cool, can always use more of those.

Seeds: Cute idea, I might remember to toss them somewhere.  Maybe here at work where there are just weeds growing in the dirt behind where I park my car.  My garden is all planted already.

Jam: would sit in the cupboard until my husband insisted we eat it RIGHT NOW then we’d fight about what to do with the little jar.  But it’s a cute favor.

As someone who lives in an urban area, every time i receive seeds as a wedding favor I get confused. What on earth am I supposed to do with them? I certainly don’t have the resources to plant them (i.e. a significant yard) and I feel bad about wasting them.

I suggest sticking to edible things like the jelly. The keychains and magnets just don’t appeal to me as a guest. I’ve got lots of wine corks already sitting around the house…

@TattedNYBride: +1!

I would be happy with the jelly and the seeds, but would leave the other favors behind. I’m absolutely not a big fridge magnet person and I don’t need more things on my key-chain.

@gorusticorgohome:  There were too many comments so I’m not sure if this is stated already, but don’t give the seed one it’s just a waste. I personally love key chains, but I have about three copies of my keys as I forget where I leave them at home. Others probably already have one, but I find one more fridge magnet isn’t much room and is still useful. Maybe you should add a poll.

I love the magnets so much that I’m thinking I am going to make them for myself 🙂
