I have been a member for a while now, and I was there during the change to the new program. (And still am a member!)

I know a lot of people were upset about the change, and jumped on the “I’m just going to stick with the old plan” bandwagon! My leader (I attended meetings until I moved) gave the analogy of refusing to switch to DVDs instead of VHS because you don’t want to do “something new”, even though the DVD technology is greater!

I embraced the changes because, they spent years doing research, and they wouldn’t change their successful business model if it was going to loose them money!

I have found that with the new PointsPlus plan, I am actually focusing more on the good health guidelines, and actually getting all of my good foods in!

I’ve been in a plateau for the last couple weeks (which, when coupled with the fact that I have been working my butt off doing the 30 day shred is SUPER frustrating!) but I finally broke through it, at least for this week. What keeps me going during a plateau is this quote:

“You can’t control what the scale says, only how hard you work!”

And for that matter, be sure to use other measures of success! For example, I eat less now, since I started actually measuring my food; I left part of cheesecake on my plate (a miracle!); I feel stronger from working out, even if it isn’t showing on the scale/inches yet.

Stick with it! You can do it!
