@kayberry:  Ummmmm….. gorgeous. First, LOVE Costa Rica (I think that is where Fiance and I are going to elope!). Your colours, the ceremony location, the lanterns, the cake… seriously stunning. I hope it all comes together for you!

@kayberry:  Are you kidding?! Who wouldn’t like it! You have a WONDERFUL plan going, I hope it turns out better than you could imagine! And I see you are a fellow Canadian bee 🙂

If you are looking for a photographer, have you heard of a Brit and a Blonde? They are Canadians who live in CR for half the year, and they take GORGEOUS wedding pictures. You should check them out!! I’ve been talking to them about doing a couple hours of photography for us.

We are *hoping* to elope the beginning of next year… I finish school in December, and have to wait to take my registration exams until March/April (ish), so hopefully in that gap sometime!

@kayberry:  They are definitely pricey. For me it is a bit of a different situation because I won’t need them for a whole day, just a couple of hours (and even that is expensive!). I figure since I’m not paying for any sort of a reception, I can splurge 😛

Isn’t Costa Rica stunning? And have you checked out flights? We were considering flying out to Alberta to Emerald Lake for our elopement, and return flights were around $600 each. To Costa Rica (return), they are about the same! So inexpensive. Flying in Canada is ridiculous.

Costa Rica is amazing and Arenal is one of my favorite areas. I only spent a few days around Arenal, but I spent several months in Monteverde, which is very close by. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me!

@kayberry:  I’ll have to check them out! Since we decided to forgo the big wedding and elope, I’ve definitely become a little lax with the planning.. need to get back on that.

@kayberry:  WOW, those pictures are STUNNING! Good find! If she made it on Style Me Pretty, I don’t think you can go wrong 🙂

@kayberry:  Hmm, you’ll probably need at least 5 hours. That was my bare minimum when I was planning my wedding here. But seriously, 3 whole extra hours for $500 more is a GOOD deal!
