I also have one of those glass screen protectors so that when dropped the protector will shatter rather than the actual phone screen

jackiebee :  seriously.  I have a 100% mac products when it comes to computers and tablets, and yet I use an android phone because I can’t handle the fact the iphone is practically guaranteed to crack. :-/

I’m the opposite! I have dropped my iPhone over and over and over again from all sorts of heights onto solid floors and it just will not break! I don’t know whether I’ve just got some very unique indestructible one or extremely lucky as everyone I know seems to have broken theirs at one point or another 0_o what about a thick sock style case? So it’s padded all the way round?

Glass screen protectors! Buy a pack of 2 or 3. When you drop your phone, if anything cracks, it will be the screen protector. I have never broken my iPhone screen using a case and a glass screen protector. But I’ve had to replace a few protectors.

I have owned 4 iPhones and they have all been in otterboxes and I drop mine like everyday. They bounce. I have always purchased the defender series of otterbox and have never damaged a phone.

jackiebee :  I’ve keep my last three iPhones in otter boxes and haven’t had any damage. I’m ROUGH on my phone and drop it all the time too. They are seriously the best protective case and worth every penny. I’m with you though, when the heck are they going to create an iPhone with a more durable screen?! And a charger that doesn’t fray at the base?!?

Yeah that’s part of the reason I use Android. I can’t be replacing my phone all the time because they refuse to stop using glass.

Get a top of the line otter box. I have an Galaxy 7 which does have a glass screen and I’ve dropped it heights with no damage (knock on wood). But a full otter box should keep it fully protected.
