Congrats! Welcome to the program! This is a great place for WW support because so many bees are on it!  I have been doing it for just over a month, and so far, very happy with it!

You can do it!  I have been on and off WW for awhile, but when you are committed, you can be TOTALLY successful 🙂

The first time I did WW I lost over 20 lbs.

I need to get back on the wagon. It was fantastic.

Another good website is SparkPeople.com.  It has a concept similar to WW.  Good Luck!

This is kind of off topic (sorry) but I wanted to share.  I am not sure if any of you bees use tanga.com but the magazine deal today is for the Weight Watchers magazine subscription.  it is just $4 for a year!  I have ordered two magazines in the past BHG for $3 and ESPN for $3.  It has been great so far!  The coupon code is “weight”.  The deals do sell out and are only good for one day (I believe).  Hope this can be helpful.

@jenandchris: Never did meetings. Just did online only. Do/did you go to meetings?

Fell off the wagon when I switched jobs and no longer had access to the message boards at work. Also started working in the city and commuting by subway (rather than driving to LI each day) so my gym time disappeared. I used to go to the gym out by my office on LI post work to avoid traffic. Plus old job had no cafeteria, so I’d bring lunch a lot. New job has a delicious (and subsidized) cafeteria.

New job is 100 times better for me in all ways but my waistline!

@KatNYC2011:  When I’m good, I go to my meetings in Brooklyn.  I’ve been to three different sites, and finally found one that I really felt like I could relate to the meetings and the people.  One I went to was at a Synagogue in Brooklyn Heights – it was mostly 50+ Jewish women who did NOT seem to have the same eating struggles as I did.  When I complained about the points that I drank that weekend, they didn’t seem to understand…so I found one with a younger crowd.  It’s made a big difference.  I’ve tried to do online before, but never seemed to ‘click’ with the message boards.  i find I’m more accountable this way…when I go…I’m going back for the first time in two weeks and it’s NOT going to be good.  Wish me luck!

@jenandchris: Best of luck! I’m going to look into meeting sin my neighborhood. Might help with the “accountability” part.

@Miss Tattoo: Are you going to meetings or just doing online?

@Miss Tattoo: You have to eat all your points every day.  Or at least you’re supposed to.  And 7 extra points is A LOT!  So you should definitely try to eat them.
