And apparently he has SIX pages open, not just on TTC but how to determine sex of the baby
I thiught we were just NTNT but apparently he wants to not only actively try…but to try for a boy
I draw the line however at washing out my vagina with a bicarb solution to help the boy sperm get ahead. Not even sure if thats based on science or not
Bless him, he thought it was something he could plan by himself. I pointed out he wont know when im ovulating without my input!

Oh my. He’d better get over that notion right quick.

@futuremrsk18: I think she meant NTNP, as in Not Trying Not Preventing.

@Squid: Ohhhh FINALLY – I kept seeing it around the boards and couldn’t figure it out lol

@SnurfMurph86: thats what i said!
I want us to have sex when we are in the mood, not be getting obsessive about either babies and specifically what sex of babies. I knew he was broody but i didnt realise abiut the secret research haha. We have only been married 3 weeks or so!
@Squid: yes totally what i meant. Here there seems to be a big distinction as to whether youre charting etc, or just having unprotected sex. I totally need to learn the lingo!

This gave me a good laugh! My grandfather always told us to just make sure the husband was wearing boots while BDing. He got 2 boys out of that method!!

( i want to clarifiy that this stpry doesn’t have anything to do with what your Darling Husband was doing I think boys naturally want to have boys at some point & that’s perfectly fine & dandy 🙂 I just had to share this story that’s happened to our family)
first thing that came to mind was my brother IN law married to my Darling Husband sister -B- he told everyone that if there was a pill he could take to ‘kill’ female sperm he would….. Yup winner right there right?!?
He then proceeded to tell my sister in law -A- who’s been struggling for 7 years trying to get pregnant if they had a girl she could just have it… ( keep in mind this is my sister in law -A- , who’s younger sister -B- is married to this guy) how hurtful!!! It broke her heart that he said that to her. Well they get pregnsnt the first month trying…. Of course right?! And guess what?!? it’s a GIRL.
Now everyone knows he never wanted a daughter and he plays it off like being a dad to a baby girl is the best thing ever… But we haven’t forgotten all his snide comments about not wanting a daughter. I hope for my nieces sake no one ever tells her those stories about how he dad didn’t want her… It would break her heart.

well, at least this thread makes a change from the ‘i caught my husband watching porn’ threads!
i was just baffled when i realised he’d been doing so much research, copying and pasting stuff into a word document etc, without mentioning it haha. Other than vague ‘ I’d love to have a baby, but it will happen when it happens’ type comments
@MrsHoneyC: thats so sad, I can’t imagine what i’d do if my husband made comments like that!! I mean as much as he has a list of activities in mind for a future son (hunting, fishing, football etc) i know he’d be a great dad to a girl too. I hope your Brother-In-Law now appreciates his daughter!

@newname_99: Very sad!!! Hopefully he appreciates how lucky they were to get a baby on the first try, although I can’t lie his comments have changed the way I feel about him now.
