Seriously need a like button on here. That is just awesome. Now to go post in on Google+. 😉
Very nice, thanks for sharing that.
Some of it is good, but I do not believe in some of them. I do not believe in quiting job if you don’t like it. Life is difficult and tough and you have to make money to actually enjoy life. Quiting into nothing is not a solution. I have a friend who quit her job and took a year or two to “find herself”. She’s now back at the same type of job. Quitting if you have a plan, a real plan is the right thing to do. Quitting just because you don’t like it is running away.
I also do not believe in not looking for love. If you sit at home and don’t look, then he’s not going to show up at your door. Well, there’s a chance, but it’s a small chance, so why not give yourself more opportunities to find him and go out and look for him?
Life is not about quitting, life is about searching!
Again, it’s just personal opinion 🙂
@Imagelicious: The way I took the stop looking for love quote is that if you stop searching and worrying about finding someone and “start doing the things you love” you will find someone “waiting” there that loves doing some of the same things as you. You pretty much said the same thing though, just in different words!
Totally agree though about the not quitting your job unless you have a plan. I personally am not crazy about my job but there’s not way I’m going to quit until I know what else I can/wanna do. The quotes are simple though, life is harder than just doing those things, but I really like the idea/message of the post. Thanks for posting! 🙂
May I steal this and post it on facebook???
But there’s something about the original sign that urbbed me the wrong way. I saw it a few weeks ago and had that feeling that although I agree with many items on that list, it’s still a bit too… easy and simplified, perhaps.
@shellzbellz: It’s absolutely true. I took up my craft again, writing, just before meeting Darling Husband. When he called and I was busy, I really was busy. But didn’t lie to him and said “Oh, I’m so into this right now and I can’t wait to show you” type thing. He couldn’t wait either. Well, he could…he married me!
As for the job thing. I did that too. Walked right out. No plan. It was not just dislike of it, however, some very seedy things were going on. I hit the pavement every day like my life depended on it (which it did!) and found something worth it shortly after!
I love this!! Thanks for sharing 🙂 Happy Thursday indeed!!
