I tried googling and didn’t find much…I just started the pill last month (Loestrin 24), and got to the sugar pill/whatever they are yesterday. I still haven’t started my period. I though BC was supposed to prevent this? I thought it was supposed to regulate your period?
By The Way, I’m definitely not pregnant, because my Fiance and I are waiting. The wedding isn’t for 22 days. Does anyone have any experience with this?

It can take a few months for your body to adjust to the new hormones. And it can take a day or three before your withdrawl bleeding starts.

Your hormones are adjusting. And it may be strong enough compared to your previous hormonal balance to prevent you from bleeding

After finishing the 3 weeks of hormone pills it takes me exactly 3 days to start my period. If you just started taking the sugars yesterday, then I think you just have to wait a couple more days.

it’s normal to skip periods on loestrin 24. i have been on it for over a year and haven’t had more than two periods since i’ve been on it.

I take my last active pill on a Saturday night and AF usually arrives Tuesday morning. It is defintely normal to have a few days pass before you get it, the hormones take time to get out of your system. I was on a different pill a few years ago and I wouldn’t get my period until Wed/Thurs (still finishing the last active one on Saturday night). Don’t worry about it, you’ll see a pattern emerge after another month or so.

I’m like @FourthFireworks:
. I take the last active pill at 10pm Saturday and don’t get my period until Tuesday morning/afternoon. It may just take a bit of time, and since it’s the first month for this pill, it may even take a few cycles to regulate.

I started my week of sugar pills on sunday and I don’t start my period until thursday (today! woohooo! ha) I am only on my period for 3 days. But like everyone else is saying, it’ll take a couple months for your body to adjust. No worries! 🙂

I take my last active pill on Saturday night and usually get my period sometime Wednesday night or Thursday morning. It’s different for everyone. My period usually lasts into the first or second day of the next active week, too. Definitely normal 🙂
