I use the moisturizer and I’m not sure if I’ve noticed! Going to have to take a sniff tomorrow!!! Haha.

I love that brand like the Pure Grace line, but that particular cream made me break out horribly!

I hated the smell too… and I didn’t feel like it was all that great for my skin. I have used much cheaper moisturizers that work better for me.

@MrsPom:  Nah I tried to use it for at least 2 weeks because it was so expensive I refused to believe it wouldn’t work haha! It just sat on my skin even if my skin was damp it didn’t absorb and the film caused breakouts.

I was given a jar of this awhile back and had the exact same reaction. It smelled so awful to me. Very, very fishy. And since I don’t eat fish, probably a lot due to the smell that I can’t get past, it was a total dealbreaker for me. :/

Yeah, Hope in a Jar isn’t the nicest smelling moisturizer.  I am a huge fan of Miracle Worker, by Philosophy, however.  No smell at all!

i felt the same way! I got a little scoop-out sample from sephora to try for like, 3 days. It smelled horrible and I felt gross, though it was good on my skin. I bought a full sized jar anyway, and that one smells fine! I think the old one was sitting open and oxidizing or growing bacteria (ew) that made it smell especially bad.

@Miss Novia:  I haven’t tried that moisturizer, but I do eat fish.  I still wouldn’t put something that smelled like it on my face.  Yuck!

@strawbabies:  LOL! It was really offputting. I think putting real fish on one’s face might have smelled better, hee!

@MrsPom:

I love Hope in a Jar, use it every day…BUT – get the one that says “for dry skin”. That one does NOT smell bad at all!
