He buys me flowers every week, so I can see samples of what’s available here at this time of year (our wedding is in a year at the end of November). Today he comes home, and tells me the florist has glitter kale. Kale. With the ruffly ends dipped in glitter.
So here’s his idea for my bouquet: glittered poms and ranunculus wrapped in layers of glittered kale. His reasoning: “It’ll look cool, like remember those cabbage patch kids? They were wrapped in leaves! Your bouquet could be like a cabbage patch kid’s head, how cool would that be?!”

I feel like all he has to do is bring his idea to life and pin it on Pinterest. It’ll be the next big thing. You’ll see! 😉

@fzesguer: He sounds kinda awesome to me. Now I’m thinking about glitter kale! Will he sue me if I use his idea?

That is adorable! He sounds amazing lol.
My Fiance could not care less what our flowers look like, if only he had the same attitude about the pleated pants he wants to wear…

Surprisingly, my Fiance actually has an opinion on flowers and bouts.

Cute : ) sure Glittered Kale is kinda cringe worthy lol, but at least he’s trying. My Fiance always gives me the same answer when I ask his opinion “Whatever you want” but when its something I REALLY want its usually something he doesn’t like so when I ask “What is your alternative?” I get the answer “I don’t know, whatever you want, I’m not creative” AHHHH lol I’m about ready to not tell him anything about this wedding and he’ll find out when he shows up.

Love it! I love the crazy things they come up with and then the really confused look they get after you’ve said that’s crazy… I know they’re just thinking “really, have you seen some of the crazy sh*t you’ve come up with?!”

If someone asked what are the last two words you would ever expect to see next to each other, there’s a very good chance the correct answer would be “glitter” and “kale”.
