Don’t let Fantasia Bridal Rocky Point Ruin Your Wedding
Im am writing this so other brides don’t have to go through the same thing I did and I believe karma should come to that store! I purchased my wedding dress Justin alexander 9740. They recently signed with Justin alexander and I was so excited to get my signature 9740 dress. I went into the store Candy and Suzzane helped me they were great seem so perfect I had all my out of state people and everyone come to order even the men in total I about 20 different purchases. But Beware of Alicia she is the owner and is fake money hungry and can care less about her brides or her staff. Apparently she fired her mother in law for lending out a slip to a customer whos didn’t come in time for her wedding.
My wedding was July 5th 2014 and my 1st fitting was June 14th I was shocked with the way the dress looked. the dress I ordered looked like it flowed mermaid style and the dress I got was a tight rose look. I will attach pictures below. I am a very easy going person far from bridezilla. I tried to make myself like the dress because I didn’t really have much of a choice with the wedding being so close. The next day I went back to the store with a picture of the advertised dress and the one I received suzzane helped me and was shocked on how different they were and everyone in the store was trying to help me they even said I can have a different dress that was on the rack that was similar with a different bottom. They put that dress in my bag and assured me It will be solved. The new dress was half the price so I would be losing out but they were gonna see about contacting JA and getting me some money back. So I ws relieved I had a dress that I didn’t look like a snow ball in. Two days later I get a call from Alicia the owner and she tells me I can not have the new dress nothing is wrong with mine and she will not be refunding me any money. She also told me the lead seamstress is on vacation until june 28th and that is when I can return. she didn’t want me to come in again to try anything on until that day even though my wedding was july 5th. She told me that the dress I tried on in paradise bridal in Patchogue 9740 was probably a fake JA dress and she also called JA on them because they were selling it for cheaper than they should be.
Thanks to davids bridal and the great staff there and the seamstress Rebecca who was beyond great got me a dress in 3 weeks. When my mom went to pick up her dress Alicia tried to make her pick up my dress and said If she doent take it it is her property which she never called me at all about. I am going to small claims court with them the dress was 3200 dollars that no bride should have to waste before paying for a wedding. Please beware when push comes to shove Alicia has the final say beware.
The Alfred angelo flower girl dress fell apart before the ceremony because 2 small of a size was ordered and they had to stitch it all up which was done poorly. Then would drive from out of state to have 2nd fitting and nothing was even done prior to the last fitting. Seamstress seemed to be on vacation a lot during wedding season hard to get appointment. The length of the dresses were not right by final fitting and bridesmaids stepping all over dresses. Also my sister had sleeves put on her dress and they couldn’t tell her the price prior to purchase because “ it is custom work but ended up charging 300 dollars in total. They never answer there phone. Horrible experience with Alicia and management.
This is a picture of what i ordered and what i got
