I didn’t take any days off in the months leading up, but I did take the 4 days before the wedding off, plus a week after for the honeymoon.

we own a farm so I live at work.  I didn’t “take any time off” except the day of the wedding and the day after (my parents stayed with the horses) but my Darling Husband took the Thurs-Fri off before the wedding & the week off after.  It was nice to spend time with him even if I still had to work.  He got a big chunk of his Honey-Do list done too 🙂

Nope – I didn’t change anything.  Just took the days off for the wedding and honeymoon.

@coffeegal85:  I really didn’t do much DIY so planning itself was really easy to fit in.

@coffeegal85:  since i work from home I just worked alittle along.  I did a lot of DIY too.  We did our own flowers, favors, invites, & programs (i have photography business so I’m pretty good with photoshop).  I also had a very helpful sister-in-law who took care of all of the flowers.  We worked on flowers during my batchelorette party lol

@coffeegal85:  I had a very small intimate wedding, so planning was easy peezy because we also purchased a wedding package at our venue. It consisted basically of just picking things- dress, bouquet, cake, grrom’s outfit, etc. The fun stuff!

I will probably take a few days off before the wedding, I won’t have alot of wedding stuff to do, bc I’ll have all my projects well done by then, but will be to hang out with family from out of town. I’m also taking the next week off for the honeymoon. My job is very very nice when it comes to taking time off. Luckily 🙂

For some reason we choose to get married in the spring which is a busy time in my office. I can work from home and do so frequently, so I most likly will take  a day or too off, but will have my work phone on and will be working on and off throughout the day. Fi and I honeymoon won’t be until the summer so I want to conserve all of my vacation days.

I had to take a couple days off for dress fittings because the seamstress was only available on Thursdays between 12 and 5. Super convenient!!! Other than that, I took the whole week before the wedding off and an extra day after we get back from the honeymoon.

I’m just taking a few days off before the wedding. As far as projects and DIYs? Well that’s what evenings and weekends are for! Seriously… it’s sad. I can’t wait to get my life back. Haha.
