Im getting married in April and i have a satin diamond white dress and my bridemaids have short satin sage green dresses. And i want my groomsman to wear khaki tux with sage green ties. And i am planning on getting married at 6 oclock, Is khaki formal enough if i change the tuxs to black i dont like the idea of black and green because thats not the look i was going for. But my MOM seems to think khaki want look good?? HELP

I think it may depend on what kind of venue you are having the ceremony/reception at. I think the khaki tuxes and short sage dresses sound so fitting with an outdoor/garden wedding. If you are having something much more formal, I can see how the black tuxes would be more appropriate. In the end though, it’s your day and I say go with what your vision is – if you don’t, will you never be able to get that out of your head and everything else will not live up to it.

I was just trying to convince my SO that Navy suits would be better suited for our wedding than black tuxes, but he has this vision in his mind of black tuxes!
I think the khaki would look awesome with the green! Especially in April! Sometimes, you have to show the haters some inspiration photos so they can see it in action!

My SO will be wearing khaki as well. The thought of seeing him in a black tux just doesn’t do it for me lol. But then again what porcell14 said also should be considered. We’re having a laid back kind of wedding. But I think you should go with what feels right to you two, regardless if what others think.
