How do you know she resold them? How do you know she took them? Did she admit it? If not, you might have a hard time proving this. Most venues make you clean up that night so how did she know to go back?

Are you sure that the venue did not dispose of them to get ready for the next wedding?

Before my wedding, I made detailed matrices showing who from among our family (our mothers, DH’s sisters, and my aunts), should end up going home with each of our gorgeous centerpieces, and I planned to give these lists to two of my bridesmaids so they could oversee this process. Unfortunately, in all the chaos of my wedding day, I completely forgot to give the bridesmaids the lists.

My parents and one of my aunts went back the next day, but the venue had already disposed of all of my beautiful flowers, because the property was hosting another wedding that day. I could not fault the venue, as my contract stipulated that all of my items had to be removed the night of my wedding.

This is terrible. I work in the industry and have heard of florists taking flowers from gravesites. Once it is sold that’s it! It doesn’t matter if they are just left there to die….yoube already made your money on them. This is deplorable.

Sorry but how do you know the florist came back and stole your flowers?

These are big allegations to be making on a public forum with no substantiation—esodcially if you’re considering pursuing legal action!

Brielle:  It sounds like she has already spoken with the florist who confirmed she took them.

You purchased flowers, you didn’t rent them – she had no right to take them back. I would take this further.
