    I thought she looked SOOOOOOO tired and the eyeliner was an attempt to cover up the bags under her eyes. Plus I’m pretty sure she thought – millions of TV/photographers on my face = pile on the eye makeup.

    I liked that she looked like herself.

    Found an upclose picture. Probably not the most flattery shot. If someone finds a better one feel free to share. From the picture, I not blown away by her makeup, but I thought she liked good in the further away shots.

    Huh….I am kind of surprised by the liner on the bottom. Not the most modern way to wear eyeliner. Huh….okay….well….maybe that is what she is most comfortable with.

    I thought it was too thick and uneven… it bothered me the entire time.  I wish it was less dramatic

    Not in love with her makeup… I think she would have benefitted from a professional, and still have been able to look like “herself”,

    @SoupyCat: I agree. Its like she doesn’t understand that professional makeup doesn’t have to be really dramatic. If she had the freedom to DYI her own makeup, I feel like she would have had a the freedom to ask for a “natural” look.

    I didn’t like it. It was too much on her pretty face. I’m a ‘less is more’ type of person with makeup, and I thought she would have looked good with a dramatic eyeliner and a little bit of eyeshadow. The underneath eyeliner was too much for how dainty she is

    How old is she? Her make-up doesn’t really bother me but I noticed that the couple is older (or at least looks it). Not trying to be mean… but I don’t keep up with the royal family so this is the first time I’ve seen her. I guess I imagined she was younger than that.

    @kperry3:

    She’s 29, he will be 29 in June.

    In natural light, it looks a bit much. But on TV and in photos it was perfect, and honestly, that’s what I’d be more concerned with as well.

    29 is “older” now? Ouch! I’m only a year behind that. 😉

    (I’m not trying to start trouble. I’ve been told I look younger than I am so it’s all good)

    ETA: in an attempt to not threadjack, I’ll answer the original question. I’m not a fan of the eyeliner, and it’s true, she does look older than she is, at least in that photo.
