It was definitely attached to the tiara a the sides.

It was a French Silk Tulle drop veil.  It is attached to the hair (or tiara) with hairpins.  I am having an almost identical veil and am attaching it with fancy hair pins to the crest of my hair.

I think I’m the only person who liked it… but it made me envious!

@helenberrycrunch: I thought it was stunning too.  I can’t wait to wear mine.  As soon as I saw it I wanted to shout that she was wearing my veil – YAY!

@helenberrycrunch: you are NOT the only one who loved it, I was dyyyying over the veil and I actually called the woman designing my veil to add a blusher and lay it flat rather than bunched at the comb…

@tksjewelry: YAY for silk tulle veils!

@helenberrycrunch: I loved it! I thought it was so gorgeous!

@tksjewelry: I’m sure your veil will be absolutely beautiful. How cool is it that you have the same taste as royalty 🙂

I loved the veil too, and I actually prefer veils that lay flat on the head to the poofy ones.  I’m wearing a mantilla, which also is flat on the head.  If I wasn’t getting married outside, I might be tempted to add a blusher 🙂

@EleanorRigby: Yeah some people said it looked nun-like, but I disagree, I think it is extremely elegant. My future SIL wore a mandilla veil and she looked amazing.

omg i totally love that veil too!

i’ve been looking all over for affordable drop veils that would fit my dress ever since the wedding. i’ve just been having a hard time finding directions on how to wear it with a tiara… how it’s connected and stuff.

i wouldnt be at all surprised that it might have even been sewn onto the tiara.   when i first got married thats what i did and it had the same look.

I loved her veil.  I never wanted to wear a traditional veil, and didn’t want my face covered, but today I am searing all over online for veil styles.  I dislike that bunched or poof look, and think that hers lying flat is why I fell in love and started a new search.  I would agree that it was either pinned to or sewn to the tiara. You could probably do the same thing with hair pins.  A mantila would do this if you just positioned it the same as she did with pins attached to the sides.
