Anyone know of a good place for a rehearsal dinner, preferably the North Shore (though we know that’s a long shot) or on the East side (near Kapa’a or Lihue)?? We’re looking to host about 30 people for about $40/person (including tax/tip)? Or is that just crazy low?
Also, hi Hawaii brides =) so quiet on the HI boards!

I loved Postcards Cafe when I was there! I think if you keep the meal simple you can def do $40/pp but that might not include drinks. Good luck! I miss Kauai!

Have you tried Gaylord’s on the Kilohana plantation? We went to Lihue on vacation at the begininng of Nov and had supper there. The food was excellent and the prices were good. I think the might have a copy of their menu online, as well

Try The Tavern in Princeville. It’s up north so you won’t be driving far, and it got four stars on Yelp. I went for drinks once, which were pretty tasty. Here’s the menu: http://tavernbyroy.com/menu/dinner-menu/

Thanks for all the help ladies! Seems like all the places are affordable for a normal dinner but once you try to have a rehearsal/small party dinner, the price gets jacked up (i.e. Postcards wants to charge $75/pp) If anyone has any further leads, let me know!
