Long story short, my engament ring is really badly bent,(top one) it’s rose gold and moissanite, I did get it fixed but still sits really wonky so I’m guna use my old promise ring that’s morganite.
The thing is after 5 years of having rose gold I’m worried that it actually doesn’t suit me how I thought it did, I have very pink skin (typical ginger with blue eyes) and though I don’t want a completely new ring becouse I’m sentimental (wished I’d of gone with white gold but ah well) I’m not sure if the morganite just makes my hand look more pink? I’m aware that this could be my ocd also as when I’m stressed (got lots going on as we all have at the moment) it sets it off and I find I get fixated on something and then I over think things.
whats your thoughts? Keep it as it is or put the engagement ring moissanite stone on my promise ring? I don’t know how to put multiple pictures up so I’ve had to stack all my rings on so you get some idea.

Just found out out how to post more so thought I’d show you in different lights.
btw I forgot to mention a side stone is missing which I will get fixed but want to decide on what I will do before as I can get them both done at the same time.

You can have the rose gold rhodium plated (dipped) to appear as white gold.

@nous2 Dipped her rosegold ring for a white gold look. Maybe you should try that? I think with your pink undertones, white gold will look better on you.
You can also have your moissy set into a white gold setting.

I would actually say, turn your promise ring into your new ring!! You could get it plated in white gold, and if you are unsure about the morganite, maybe think about getting a moissy to replace it. Not sure about using your current moissy, since your promise ring’s band looks wider, just something to think about…
I had a rose gold, morganite ring. The morganite was dull and after less than two years of wearing my ring the rose gold got to me. It just does not work for my skin tone. Here is the transformation!
ring when I got it, in the beginning…. it looked good not worn lol
What it looked like when worn – I hated how everything looked, from the gold to the melee diamonds to the morganite, but I was too emotionally attached to it to not wear it… I had a sapphire as a center stone for a while too
After getting it plated and replacing the morganite with a Moissy.
And a close up 🙂
i am thrilled to have made the change, I think it looks better today than it ever did.
I hope that you won’t mind my long post but I thought this may help a little!!!
good luck! I’ll be on the lookout to see what you decide to do.

I think it’s stunning with the morganite! It’s a beautiful ring and looks great on you! I personally wouldn’t change a thing 💕

nous2 your rings gorgeous!wow 💕
Aw thank you kevinsbee 😊
So here’s the update lol I feel to emotional to make a big decision at the moment so what I’m guna do is I have a pretty dainty 10kt white gold band with teeny little diamond chips in my nan and granddad brought me when I was a young teenager that I’ve been wearing and I’ve seen a really affordable little 9kt white gold moissanite band (only 99 pound!) that I’m guna see if I can get for my anniversary present and stack them with my plain rose gold wedding band to balance the pinkness abit and then in 5 years for our 10th anniversary I will reset my stone to a pretty little white gold setting and it will be sentimental cuz it’s a milestone anniversary! That’s my decision for now anyway lol 😆
