I’m in the middle of packing to move to FIs house and I’m coming across all kinds of old birthday cards, Christmas cards, etc. I feel bad tossing them, but I don’t really need to keep them.
What about you? Keep or toss old cards?

I would toss any that aren’t from your Fiance.

I hate this question. I never know what to do with old cards. I usually just stash them in some drawer somewhere, because I can’t bring myself to throw them out.

Yeah I can’t throw them out either. But I usually just keep stuff like that at my parent’s house lol.

I keep every single card (and sometimes the envelope) he gave me. Get a shoebox and store them in that so you don’t have them all over the place.

I’m such a hoarder when it comes to cards. I have no idea what to do with them all, but I keep them anyway.

I just saw a pin on pinterest where people bound cards together. I have a stockpile of old cards I can’t seem to throw out so I’m planning to do that!

Oh these aren’t from Fiance. Those I keep. It’s just every birthday or Christmas card I’ve received in the last 5 years lol

I’m in the middle of the same thing! I’m saving the ones where someone wrote something more than “Happy Birthday!” and than signed their name. The ones with meaningful messages are the ones that get to stay. 🙂

I keep ones that are particularly meaningful, like real milestone birthdays, or if someone picked a card, or wrote a note that was particularly touching. Or, this is morbid, but ones from people I think might die soon, like my super elderly grandma. I always think I’d hate to throw out the last one she gave me.

I love this idea. They don’t take up as much space, can be put on shelves or packed into boxes, plus you get to keep all of those cute sentimental cards. Also, you could organize them by year, event, giver, whatevever!

I defiantly toss old cards…I’m kinda sad when people give me cards because they don’t last long! They end up in the trash a few days later! 🙁
