You can probably clean it the same way I clean my amethyst. I put some washing up liquid in a mug with warm water (not super hot), and use a soft toothbrush to clean the ring with the water.

I have an aquamarine also.  My jeweler gave me some cleaning solution that I use once a week to clean my rings.  The rings go in the solution for 10 minutes, come out, get rinsed off in super-hot water.  I then use a bowl of warm water and dawn dish detergent, holding the rings just under the surface, and use an electric toothbrush (toothbrush is only for cleaning my rings) to really get in all the crevices.  It’s not hard to do but does take a few minutes of time.  Comes out looking beautiful!!!

I am a Jewellery Lover…

There are a lot of DIY Homemade Remedies…

But personally I just go out and buy a jar of a Gentle Jewellery Cleaner… they are available in Dept Stores – Jewellery Stores – from on-line / Home Party Jewellery Sellers (like Avon) etc.  And not terribly expensive.

They work on all sorts of Jewellery… Gold, Silver, Gemstones, Synthetics, Costume Jewellery etc.  Just about everything Except Pearls.

Small price to pay for great looking Jewellery, and a Jar will last you a really really long time.

Hope this helps,
