@Jess1483:  If there’s loose dirt where they are going you can put some foil down under a little of it. When they step on it, it surprises them & they go away. Or if you’re home when it happens, spray water at them.

red chili pepper flakes!! I planted a salad garden a few months ago & the hood cats were all over it thinking it was an awesome new shit box… I sprinkle red chili pepper flakes over the soil every week or so (you could probably do less but it rains here alot) & nothing’s been disturbed unless I forget to do it! I just buy them in bulk at our local discount grocery store
