@blinkingSTAR:  SO just told two of my friends the date he wants to propose, and no one will even give me a hint as to when to do my nails! So I gave myself an at home manicure… not too bad lol Fingers crossed we’ll both have sparkly accessories for our freshly polished nails soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

I usually keep mine painted, but I’ve been trying out some new treatments to make them grow out some.  I’ve got extra reason to not bite them now!  Although the nails on my right hand look better than my left and I start fussing at the left hand “come on, grow better! you’re the one that will be photographed that night!” haha..waiting girls are nothing if not prepared…and obsessive ๐Ÿ˜›

Yesterday I just painted my nails an unobtrusive color (Essie’s Imported Bubbly) just in case — and I know my ring is still in process and not even shipped yet! I figured I’d just have them nice now so I don’t have to worry about it later.

I asked my Boyfriend or Best Friend if he liked my polish — I just wanted his opinion — and he said “I know what you’re doing” with this smirk on his face. Haha, I’m so lame!

Girl, everyday I am looking like an Easy Breezy Beautiful Cover Girl.lol  Yes, I am shameless.

Conversation last night on the phone:

Him: I am ready.

Me: Ready for what?

Him: To propose and start premarital counseling.

Me: Trying not to pass out and remain calm. Heart is like, beating really fast and experienced shortness of breath.  Somehow, I managed a squeaky, “Okay”.  Well the ball is in your court basically.

Ha!!!!!  Damn right I am preparing. *fist pump*

@spotted_giraffe:

Gosh, I am SUCH a biter.  It’s actually disgusting how I just knaw at these bad boys.  I find that when they are done, it restrains me a bit.  So hard, especially when I get nervous or stressed.

i’m so bad with my nails–i’m a completely helpless biter. they look SO nice when they’re manicured, and it lasts for like, three days, before i totally bite them off. i’m trying SO hard to not bite them for the next two months so that when IT happens, they’ll look perfect ๐Ÿ™‚ i have to say–getting engaged is an excellent deterrent to nail biting!

I am so low maintanence that the idea of having to keep my nails nice from now until Christmas makes me want to cry. I will probably have to settle for naked nails in my first pictures and then go get a manicure right after I get my sparkly!

I’m so glad I’ll be done working at my current job when I’m expecting my boyfriend to propose, because I work in foodservice and we arent allowed to have painted nails. Plus it will be the holidays and I always love getting dressy for the holidays so he wont suspect that I know ๐Ÿ™‚

December is my timeline, not sure if I can manage having perfectly painted nails constantly for the next couple of months!! On the plus side it gives me a good chance to find the perfect colour to match a sparkler…

Normally I never keep my nails done. I only do my natural nails. Yesterday I tripped over my dog and chipped my nails so now they are all uneven. Again, normally I would care less, now I had a mini panic attack and frustrated that I have to do my nails all over again.

One day I will laugh at myself for this!

I know my SO has the ring so have been keeping my mani in tip top shape for 2 weeks. Getting a bit sick of having to remove and reapply my polish but I’m sure it’ll be worth it when he eventually asks.
