Have you taken vitamin C and/or drunk orange juice? Also a spoon full of honey can help with sore throats.

Good luck with your interview, I hope you feel better by then!

Drink lots of fluids! Take vitamins, drink orange juice, hot water with honey and lemon is good too. Some people like those ColdEez things but I’ve never tried it. Hope you feel better and good luck!

I swear by echinacea tea and Emergen-C.

Start the day off with a dose of DayQuil (or knockoff), 400mg ibuprofen, and two tall glasses of water. You also need vitamin C. So a tall glass of orange juice, or two tablets of vitamin C. Keep drinking water throughout the day, and second dose of DayQuil and ibuprofen in the afternoon.

This is my cold season regiment. May not necessarily knock out the cold, but it sure knocks out the symptoms til the cold works its way out.

Ugh, both my nieces had strep last week, and my SIL has bronchitis. I agree with all the above advice, especially upping your fluids.

If there’s a whole foods near you, maybe pick up one of their immunity shots? I don’t know where else to get them but they’re strawberry-kiwi_ish tasting with a slight hint of gross (I don’t like bitter things) and have vitamins, minerals, and echinacea. Try it? I have a cold now too and just took one.

Agree with all above suggestions. May I add sleep to the list? I know sleep deprivation makes me feel even more shitty when I have a cold. A humidifier helps with the breathing at night. I’m feeling the sniffles myself.

Edit: I swear by the netti pot too! Use saline spray during the day. The only time I curb the netti pot usage is when my ears are blocked and already filled with fluid. Hot showers and placing your head over a steamy pot filled with water and peppermint spirits do wonders as well.

Have you tried Cold Ease? They are a high dose zinc losenge and make colds shorter and so much more tolerable.

I was just going to give my advice, but it’s already Tuesday. How did it go?
