@Shiner:  We work in Louisville, and both owned homes before meeting each other, so we have a condo in Clifton and a farm in Crestwood.  We’re trying to get the best of both in our wedding.

Ceremony: Duncan Memorial Chapel, Crestwood

Reception: Yew Dell Gardens, Crestwood

Caterer:  Mastersons.  We were limited in choices, and I’ve had both really good and really bad food from Masterson’s, but the last 2 weddings I attended where they catered were tasty.  Also, I’ve been told many times that they provide the best customer service.

Florist:  private (a friend is a florist)

Photographer:  Leslie Ann Kidd

Rehearsal dinner:  North End Cafe, Louisville

We’re getting a photo booth from Magnolia Photo Booth Co, and they made our Save the Dates.  Our invites are from Hound Dog Press, an AMAZING old-fashioned printer in downtown Louisville.

DJ: NightOwl DJ’s.  I agree that so many sounded so cheesy.  But I really liked him at a friend’s wedding–he’s very professional and not at all cheesy.

Cake–Plehn’s.  We wanted a simple cake, but that tasted wonderful and had NO FONDANT.  And, they’re fairly inexpensive.  🙂

Alterations:  Cecilia Hardin in Louisville.  She’s been absolutely amazing.  I lost 25 pounds between dress purchase and now, and she hardly even blinked an eyelash.

Here are mine so far. We’re keeping it small, intimate and as inexpensive as possible.

Ceremony– Apple Patch Chapel (actually in Oldham County)

Reception– Brownsboro Community Center (just a mile from the Apple Patch)

Cake and Catering– Heitzman’s (Shelbyville Road location)

Photographer– My uncle’s a professional photographer so this was an easy pick!

Flowers– Freda’s Fancy Flowers in Middletown

Rehearsal dinner– haven’t decided yet. My fiance and I are footing the bill for this one so we’re looking for cheap eats. I love Mark’s! @ella86 are you going there or are they catering somewhere?

Since it’s small and mostly just family and close friends we’re not hiring a dj or needing a limo.

I’m also still looking for a place for my hair. I’ll be doing my own make up.
