I’m looking for colors to incorporate a vintage/offbeat wedding. I know when I think of vintage I think of pastel colors, I don’t really like that. I’m really into the personal touches to a wedding, and me and my fi really like starfish and that kind of stuff. For instance, I really want to have a save the date that is a hankerchief. I know how to sew, and I’d like to maybe fabric stamp a really cool font in the middle and sew something like a palm tree or something like that. I’m kind of lost on a theme I’m trying to go for. So… give me some advice 🙂 Thank you

@bsmith09: I’m not real sure what your exact question is, but here are some pics that might help to inspire you:
You can modify colors to your liking, like these that I found in Key West pics:

Yea… my question wasn’t well thought out. I guess what I am looking for is a vintage inspired beach wedding. My Fiance says he really likes the softer colors…but I don’t think those are as fun. But I do like the sea glass colors, and the coral colors.

I really like these colors too, but there just seems something missing.

want the same thing! Im hoping to have starfish and coral on the tables. I really like aqua and pink? not sure if that would be the best option for a vintage beach wedding?

I think for a 50s style vintage and something that would go perfect for a beach wedding is turquoise and cherry red. I love those two colors together! I don’t think they would be so overpowering for your Fiance, but a little brighter than pastels that you are looking for.

I know you’re doing Florida, but I’m doing a vintage Hawaiian wedding. Here’s my board – I think the colours could work for you too maybe with a bit more lime green mixed in!
