I’m seeking opinions…
There is a chance that fi will ask his cousin to be a groomsman. I was considering asking this cousin’s daughter to be the flowergirl. Would it be rude to not allow any other cousins to bring their children?

@oandm: That depends on wither they will be at the reception or not, if so you should think about the numbers and the scenario of your reception, is it an open bar that goes late into the night or an afternoon garden party? If its the latter and you don’t want to have kids other than them just explain to people who pry that you wanted to keep it minimal to the bridal party.
The best way to keep kids is to number the invitations, like ___ out of 2 will be attending. Good luck, I hope you find exactly what your looking for.

I don’t think so. We are having a black tie reception. My nephew is the ring bearer and Fiance niece is flower girl – they are the ONLY children allowed at the reception – and we will have a babysitter for after they eat and are ready to go to sleep!
