I’m decorating our main floor bathroom for our little guy. I’ve seen some art on etsy but I was hoping not to spend a lot of money on the bathroom. Does anyone have suggestions for free spots to download printable art? So far I’ve found this one but would love other suggestions: http://www.freetimefrolics.com/2012/07/bathroom-art-printables.html

This sounds weird but I’ve seen it done in showhomes and I did it myself in my old house… go to Michaels and look at their scrapbook paper and frame that. They sometimes have some really cute patterns and I imagine they have a lot that would look great in a kids room/bathroom!

orchidaloha: cute idea! Maybe some secondhand store frames?

RunningGal: I don’t know how old your child is, but I would frame their own art. You can switch it out on a regular basis.
Another idea would be to do a piece of Crayola crayon art yourself. Get a canvas from the Dollar Store.

I didn’t open your link unti after I posted. I wouldn’t use the “Brush your teeth” etc art. It may be cute to us, but the child may see it as nagging not art.

julies1949: that’s a good point you’ve raised. I’m doing a sea creatures theme in the bathroom. Hopefully I can find something with a whale, crab or turtle, or something along those lines so the sayings don’t seem like nagging.
orchidaloha: I will definitely check out wallpaper or scrap paper options. I have some frames at home already, was thinking of printing some art myself but having trouble finding stuff I like so this is a great suggestion.

I made a crayon art for a friend of mind when she had her first baby! If you use cheapo dollar store crayons, it turns out really soft and almost watercolor-ish because the crayons are less pigmented.
