Dirty Delete1 was 2 when we got married and we got pregnant with Dirty Delete2 5 months before the wedding while NTNP 🙂

I just got an IUD placed so we can stick to our plan of not trying until we’re 28 – 2.5 years from now and about a year into marriage. It’s mostly about not wanting kids until we establish ourselves as a unit first and have time to explore life together and be selfish.

I’ve always said, though, that if something happened and I did get pregnant before marriage then oh well – it was meant to be. But the IUD will hopefully take that out of the equation (:

We’re married, but don’t have any kids yet. It would have been okay to have kids before getting married, but ideally, I’d rather be married first!

We tried, with no luck, to have kids before our wedding. We were both very ready and had no real reason to wait.

We plan on having kids now that we’re married.  Right now we don’t have any children.

Dirty Delete was 3 when we got married. She was completely planned and we then started TTC again on our wedding night. I am now 11 weeks pregnant.

sort of borderline: first we wanted to TTC right away after getting married, and then we decided to start before the wedding, and I was 10 weeks pregnant at our wedding!

Waiting until the wedding to TTC is making me crazy!

I KNOW it will be worth it (so be able to have a couple of drinks on the honeymoon before no more drinking for at least a year, probably more)

But I am SO ready to be pregnant!

We’re planning a good 5 – 10 years AFTER the wedding to even think about kids. There is all the amazing time to travel and enjoy your husband as just husband and wife. Why not take advantage of that?

We are trying everything we can to make sure there are no “oops” babies before marriage. Just not ready yet 🙂

We got BFP two months before our wedding date (however, it wasn’t a sticky baby). So, now we’re waiting 5-7 years before TTC. I do have an appt with a gyno though, because we were TTC for 14 months before the wedding and before the first BFP with no luck, so I want to make sure everything’s okay.

I’m bit old school on this one, I don’t want to have children before we get married.  It would mean a lot to my parents.. If it would have happened, it would have been just fine as well!  My FH on the other hand, totally would have had children before we got married! 🙂
