We are going to have atleast 12 kids under the age of 12 at our reception and I was thinking it might be nice to have a kids corner. What could we do to make it look classy, keep their attention & also let them have fun?
Thanks for your ideas!

We’re doing this too! I’m planning on having some activity books made up. I’m thinking of creating some wedding mad libs just for the kids. I’m also thinking of maybe trying to find some a simple craft that sort of ties into a wedding theme but isn’t too messy (this is just a thought and may get tossed out). I think I’m going to put some disposable cameras on the kids table too just so I can see what the wedding was like from their perspective. And since their disposable, I also don’t have to worry if the cameras don’t survive the evening.
As for decor, we’re doing an outdoors rustic wedding so I’m going to use kraft paper for the table cloth. I’m going to use Martha Steward’s lace edge punch to try to class it up a little. I’m going to take either lace or twine (or maybe a mix of both) and tie it around some tin cans to use as crayon holders. I’m still going to do some flower center pieces but they will be very simple and small.

There will be a few children at our wedding as well, and I’m going to have coloring books made for them and crayons at their table. We are also doing a Photo Scavenger Hunt for the adults, and I found these cute kid cameras that they can color and take pictures with as well. It will only be about 5 kids there so those things along with the music, I think they will be fine..
