We are having steak BBQ for the adults, and kids were offered hamburgers/hot dogs with essentially the same sides as the adults (I think we changed the greek salad to cut up veggies). We had two pre-teens choose to have steak instead of a hamburger (11 & 13, I think?) and we were fine with that.

Ours offer chicken fingers and mac and cheese 🙂 We only have one kid, but I know it’s right up her alley!

@StephieBee:  We’re having the same thing, but we’re not doing a buffet. Also we only have 2 kids so not that big of a deal.

We only needed one because the only small child there was our flower girl.  I believe they gave her chicken tenders & applesauce.

Ours was chicking fingers and fries, but only one of our child guests opted for them.  All the other kids wanted to eat out of the buffet.

We decided not to go with the kids meal (even though it would have been cheaper BUT didn’t come with apps or dessert).  We are serving kids under 7 the same meal but less portions and we get it at 60% of  the regular p/p price.

They kids meal they offered were things like hotdogs, burgers, pizza, rice with chicken and potato chips, etc.
