Just like the title says I went into dress shopping with a list of wants:
What I ended up loving is the exact opposite of that!
Did anyone else pick something completely different than their vision?

Mine is pretty similar to what I had in mind colour and shape wise. The only difference is that I had thought I would want some lace, but found all the lace dresses seemed to busy for me so went without!

I thought I wanted something really flowy, not fitted, ivory, possibly tulle, no embelishments, straps or sleeves.
I ended up with fitted trumpet strapless dress. It’s ivory and there are no embelishments. Definitely not what I thought I’d get.

But i fell in love and went with this
Before i even got engaged i was sure i would want a long sleeved gown because they’re unique and i would wear a bra underneath. Thankfully the wonders of alterations show i can wear GG cups without a bra or any type of undergarment.

I went through several magazines looking for inspiration and there was only ONE dress I saved – Enzoani Galela. I fell for constrast beading/stitching.
I did try it on, but I felt like the bottom was a little plain, plus it was hugely puffy.
I ended up with David Tutera for Mon Cheri Kristi.
