I knew exactly what I wanted–A line, short sleeves, lace, and minimal cleavage. I tried on a few that werent that way but all the ones I loved had those characteristics.

I thought I would end up in a lace dress, kind of like this style (or maybe with sleeves):

But when I tried on dresses like that, they all felt too “typical,” like I’d seen too many people in dresses just like that. The lace also felt kind of fussy.

Here’s what I got, which felt much more unique anme had more of my personality. No lace anywhere, though!

I didn’t really know what I wanted but I thought this Mori Lee was beautiful….

I saw it at the store, but of course I was much too big for the sample. I ended up getting an A-Line Mori Lee….

Love this thread…

When I first went in my must have list was: White, Fit and Flare, Lace with a very long train. I ended up with: Ivory, ball gown with beading. I honestly believe in going in with an open mind.
