I’m so with you on this!

I’ve definitely watched too many episodes of Say Yes To The Dress and have doubted by decision – particularly because I didn’t end up doing it with my mom and it kind of hurt her feelings (whoops) but I think it has worked out for the best.

And all in all, it’s just a dress, an outfit for a special day.

Repeat what you’ve got to, to make it work! Love it 🙂

P.S. Looks great!

Your dress is beautiful! And full points for keeping a healthy perspective. I too love my dress, but it’s a dress for a day – the day begins the lifetime, and it’s the lifetime that counts. I like to watch SYTTD (and all the wedding shoes, really) but sometimes I find them hard to swallow.

You look great.. and yes, it is just a dress. As is any other dress that you’ll wear for a few hours lol.

@jessiemaims:  That dress looks amazing on you! I had to sort of convince myself I liked my dress because it wasn’t the one I originally wanted!! You look beautiful and I love the accessories you chose to compliment your look!

@jessiemaims:  Totally there with you! I never had that gushing “this is the dress I can’t live without” say yes to the dress moment, with 10 of my closest people there with me. I ordered my dress online by myself without even trying it on (I really had to…$400 for a $2400 dress?? No brainer). I love it, and love it even more now that I’m going through alterations. But I could never be a 2 dress bride, because, it’s just a dress! You look stunning in yours by the way!

It is just a dress.  But it is a gorgeous dress that looks wonderful on you when you get married.

@jessiemaims:  It was like it was meant to be. It’s Enzoani Esme (2010 collection). I got it new with tags from a bridal shop that was trying to get rid of the dress on preownedweddingdresses.com  A bride had ordered it and then cancelled her order and they got stuck with it!!  It was like a year and a half before my wedding, we had just gotten engaged, and I decided to go for it. I lucked out! I go back for my second fitting on July 14 and I’m going to get some pics of me in the dress, but here is the model…
