@lunathea:  I am a mum and I agree with your mum.  Wouldn’t call you ‘nuts’ but really, the top of this dress is beautiful.  My daughter is slightly bigger than an A cup and is having a strapless dress.  She looks great in strapless dresses, with a little bit of additional lift.  In Australia we call them ‘chicken fillet’ inserts.  Hope you get my meaning.

@lunathea:  I think it will look absolutely wonderful.  Maybe they could sew cups in to give you a little bit of shape?

It only looks like it’s too big. It doesn’t look weird at all. It looks great on you and will look amazing once it’s fitted to your body.

I think it will look great when it is altered and that concern you are having will go away. If not, and you are still worried, you can always use chicken cutlets.

I’m a B cup and wore  no bra on my wedding day. I think it looked fine on me. The dress fill itself out 😛

You can always have cups sewn in. You can even wear a corset undernealth that will give you heaps of lift.

Even if you don’t completely fill out the dress you can just add cups. I wouldn’t worry about hte top at all.

I think the “weird” you are seeing is because the dress is to big. Because its so big on you, its sitting differently then it will when its fitted to you.  If its really bothering you,  try it on with something stuffed in the bra area to fill it out.  That will give you a better idea of what it will look like when its properly fitted to you.

I second the chicken cutlets. They can be your ‘something borrowed” 🙂 But seriously,  I am an A cup as well and I think that the sweetheart neckline naturally lends itself to bust definition (in a good way). You will look great!
