I originally insisted to my Maid/Matron of Honor that I didnt need a shower or stagette because we wanted to keep it all low key. Now I kinda regret it. We are having a really small simple wedding so maybe it would be fun to have a little party. I feel like now I’ll be missing out on that part of the wedding fun. Of course, its too late for me to say that I changed my mind now because that would be very bridezilla of me “throw me a party..now”. Oh well. Maybe she will throw one anyways despite me having said no. Me and my big mouth.

Why don’t you get the girls together and go out for a night on the town? it doesn’t matter how it gets started as long as it’s started 😀

*hugs* I know the feeling. I’m kinda torn about the whole shower thing… on one hand, I feel like I want all the fuss because I only get to do it once! On the other, it just seems like so much to ask of people! Maybe there’s a way you could subtly hint that you’ve changed your mind? No idea how to do that, but then again, there are people who are much better at being subtle than I am!

Oh you still have awhile before your wedding, it wouldn’t be too much of a bridezilla, and you could help organize it if it ended up being a big deal – especially if it’s more of a stagette, where gifts aren’t the main focus (I guess it gets a bit tricky throwing a bridal shower for yourself where people bring gifts). And people still have plenty of time to plan to attend. Go ahead change your mind, just be flexible depending on the bm responses of what they can handle with maybe having to do some of the leg work yourself.
