I’m pretty sure people bought things from my registry ON THE WAY to my shower. LOL. People always wait until the last min. I have a shower to attend tomorrow and I’m going after work to get the present.

Relax, breathe,  and stop looking at your registry.

I looked too… guilty. I had multiple of the same gifts because people forgot to take things off the registry. This could be happening as well.

I typically buy gifts like the night before the shower.  I don’t have the room in my apartment to have a gift sitting around.  I wouldn’t worry about it.

People defintiely wait until the last minute. You will be fine, I promise!

I agree with what everyone is saying about buying gifts at the last minute. I’ve worked retail before and I can tell you that people do this for EVERYTHING. When I was a cashier I had so many people signing cards at the register and stuffing gift bags like crazy. For some reason there are plenty of people who assume that they don’t have to show a registry to have a gift taken off of it. I had one guy ask me once after his purchase if the gift had been taken off the registry. When I asked if he gave the cashier the copy of the registry he said he thought the system would just “know” it was on a registry when he asked for a gift receipt. I was baffled by that one…

For my shower, people bought things the day before, or even the same day! Don’t sweat it! 🙂

Oh, you’ll be fine!  People always wait until the last minute.  And not everyone buys something off the registry.  Check back in a few days and you’ll see a big change, I’m sure.  As far as getting a gift on the way to a shower – hello!  Guilty!  Smile

My shower is next weekend and yesterday was the first I noticed people had been buying things off the registry. There were about 10 things bought in the span of 8 hours. I know this because I check the registry every 5 minutes! lol

EDIT: I should add that I’m also one of those people who buys a gift on the way to the shower!
