peachbaby4008:  Sweetheart! Haters will be haters… you love the ring right? To hell with everyone else. your ass will be looking at that ring day and night…. let them be. My best friend hates diamonds, and in fact is very excentric… She refused to let her now fiance propose with a “traditional” ring. She got a bird on a ring…. yes you heard me correctly. A bird. And she loves it. I tried to talk her out of it, but ultimately I should never have done that because if it makes her happy then who am I to judge. Enjoy your ring! Its your special piece

Honeybee2015:  Can I ask where your friend got the bird ring? I am a bird researcher and would love that ring as a RHR!

I think some people just don’t find clusters aesthetically appealing. Maybe they find clusters busy, or better suited as a cocktail ring. It is not always a “haters gonna hate” situation, as people do have legitimate opinions and taste differences.

Others may be tired of the “bigger is better” attitude about engagement rings in general, and take their frustrations out on those with cluster rings or quad rings.

I can see both sides of the coin. I have seen some downright baffling cluster rings and some very pretty ones. There is a bee who had a cluster ring done in platinum and very nice quality diamonds as her ering and it is classy and stunning.

In the end, it is all about personal preference. I am currently considering my ring options and am looking at some not-so-popular shapes of diamond, including marquise (“vagina”) and heart (“juvenile”) – (to which I would counter with the thought that laughing about a stone which, at best, very vaguely resembles the general shape of the female anatomy is in and of itself very juvenile). I want a solitaire (“boring”) and the stone will be smaller. No matter what kind of ring you choose, there will always be naysayers – always, even with a classic round solitaire. As long as you have confidence in your decision, it should not matter what anyone else has to say.

Yeah I don’t get this either! My ring is not a cluster but I would have been more than happy with one. I honestly dont know why they get so much criticism because there are some gorgeous clusters out there. My nana had a flower shaped cluster engagement ring and it is one of the most beautiful, elegant rings I’ve ever seen

I really dont care …everyone is entiteld to have an opinion and thats ok..there are many ring styles that i would not choose for myself but look beautiful on someone else..i would never be negative about someones ring..and take it with a pinch of salt when clusters get a bad rep on here .. (mines also a marquise ‘bedazzled vagina’ lol)at the end of the day rock your rings and love the men who gave them to you!!!

girlseeksring:  lol at ‘vagina’! Do people seriously say that?! There’s actually a marquise shaped antique cluster that I’ve had my eye on for AGES, every time I have any spare cash I’m so tempted as they’ve had it for ages and I know I could haggle them down; I just love the shape and how it makes my finger look long and elegant. Man I want that ring!

I dont understand it either! I know they are completely different styles, but whats the difference between one of these rings and a halo? I like halos, I just dont understand why one style gets “hated on” and the other is at the top of the “popular list”..

I guess maybe I’m just disappointed that there arent more ladies on here who have them (or don’t post them). I just got mine, but while I was waiting, I looked and looked for as many pictures as I could… just waiting in dreamland trying to see all the different settings and styles..lol

I dont know, I think theyre awesome.. And after having to return my first ring, I was involved with helping design the one I just got. Everyone has a different definition of what “cheap” is..and whether or not it helped the price, I CHOSE to get what I did..because I think theyre beautiful. I didnt know anything about rings when this whole thing started. And when we went around to start looking, I was drawn to the quad ring before I even knew they were cheaper..

No price tags + no knowledge = being able to pick out what you like, unbiased..

I might start a new thread for everyone with quad/cluster rings since I havent seen one that is too current.. I’d love to see everyone show theirs off!
