I don’t! Gosh, this site is so bizarre to me sometimes. People putting down other people on the basis of the type of ring they received. It blows me away. I love looking at the variety of rings in all shapes, sizes and types because (1) I have yet to see a ring that wasn’t pretty in its own unique way, and (2) I am blessed enough to be getting a glimpse into objects that people have poured their hearts and souls into as the ultimate promise of eternal love!

prinzesschen : bridetobe2018 isn’t the one who just restarted this thread, if you check back to page 13 you’ll see that. Regardless, this thread has been going strong for over four years and there are many posts dating back to two years ago, 9 months, etc…

I don’t care for cluster rings, but it’s fine with me that others love them. I prefer a plain solitaire.

I don’t see the problem with re-starting thread of this type at all. If it had been on which bm dress colour to pick or how to arrange a diffcult family seating then yes, its obviously got a use by date. But discussing ring types is pretty timeless I reckon !
I think the word ‘hate’ gets used a bit carelessly , I don’t believe anyone actually hates a ring style do they ? Just prefers one over another. Hate is for paedophiles and calling a bomb the “mother of all bombs” . How dare they co-opt the word mother for such a purpose !!!!
I was bit surprised though, at how many posts said the original cluster ‘ didnt really look like one’ . or words to that effect, as if it were a compliment.

Funny how if you have a 1 carat 7 stone band people will tell you how beautiful it is yet if you take those same 7 stones and arrange them in a circle people are just so put off by that when it’s the same stones!
