I do. I think I’ll be so freaking beyond happy and on cloud nine on our wedding day that it won’t bother me.

Though I totally know the feeling. I feel weird doing that stuff in public.

My Fiance practically breaks out in hives when I bring it up… we’re a very private, yet romantic couple 🙂

I’m pretty sure he’s more nervous about kissing infront of our family & friends than he is about actually marry me!

My advice: Try not to think too much about it. Let the moment take over & enjoy your first kiss as husband & wife!!

God, we are shameless. We are definately a very lovey dovey, cuddles, the whole nine yards kind of couple. So no. Not nervous. 😉

@Miss Yap: We’re really lovey dovey & cuddly, but only when its just the 2 of us. lol At his parents we sneak kisses the second we’re alone, but I don’t think they’ve ever seen us kiss in over 3 years. I always worry that because we aren’t publicly very affectionate that people think I’m frigid or we aren’t romantic!!

Yes!   We are normally very affectionate but for some reason kissing in front of family seems weird, especially since we are going the City Hall route – it’s immediate family only at the ceremony.  Given our ages (ohhhh and that I have been married before), I know our parents don’t think we are as pure as the driven snow, but still kissing in front of them wierds us both out.  Suffice it to say, it will be a small peck to seal the deal.

Yes but I’m also getting married at an aquarium and in front of the “shark tank”. My ceremony area will be rather dark and with all the fish swimming in the background, maybe a few of the guests will focus on the tanks and not on us smooching!

We are so anti-PDA. We hold hands, but we don’t snuggle and smoosh in front of other people. It’s so not our thing.

It’s a wedding. People will get over it. We weren’t like, all over each other at our wedding; it’s just not us. People do expect you to kiss at a wedding, haha.

I hate smooshy people in public. It’s so gross! Sorry yap =]. You know what i mean, though–the other day it was a couple leaning up against a car groping butts and making out. oh, it was foul. we all stared and were like ‘not classy’ haha.

Yeah, we felt weird about it leading up to the day – but we were so emotionally charged up when it actually happened that it seemed like the most natural thing in the world to do, and it didn’t bother me at all.

However, after the ceremony the kissing trivia game we had at the reception definitely wasn’t my favourite part of the night, lol

Not nervous in the least. Although we keep try to keep PDA to a minimum so as not to make others uncomfortable, we are totally okay with smooching in public. So excited for that kiss…I just hope Fiance can keep it PG!

Mr. Spin’s mom and sister have commented on how we don’t kiss each other in front of the family. ^_^ But we just aren’t really into kissing in front of the family. We hold hands and cuddle just a little bit in front of people, but I’ve always been really shy about PDA. After his mom and sister teased us, I joked that we were PDA ninjas and we were too fast for them to catch kissing. ^_^ I don’t anticipate feeling weird about it on our wedding day though. I’m hoping, like others have said, to be so happy and in the moment I won’t even think about it being weird. ^_^

I’m going to have to agree with Flip Flop Bride…we’re not nervous about kissing in front of others…I’m worried about keeping it PG!  We’re not all about PDA, but we’re ok with a little bit.  I think that people expect a little PDA at weddings, and we’re more than comfortable with providing a nice kiss.

We kinda feel silly but we’ll get over it on the day of.  The problem is that we try to “practice” just for fun but we end up cracking up!  I mean I laugh til I cry for some reason!  As long as we don’t do anything gross for our friends and family to see (like no tongue, no one wants to watch that) we’ll be fine.  I went to a wedding where the groom grabbed the brides butt, I’m sure her elderly grandmother enjoyed that lol.

I’m a little weirded out by it. It’s like in The Wedding Singer – you don’t want too much tongue, but you don’t want it to be a pitiful peck, either. We’re having fun trying to get it just right! 🙂

We’re very private and (try) not to exhibit too much PDA normally so yes it is going to be a little weird. But I think I’ll be so happy that it won’t even bother me. We are practicing though- don’t want the Fiance to lean in for a 15 minute long smooch!
