I don’t know of any specific kitchenaid recipes, but I love baking with it and also the ice cream attachment.

I don’t know if actual recipes even really exist but I’ve found some handy uses for mine beyond just baking.

For starters, I make AMAZING mashed potatoes using my mixer and they’re SOOO easy. Just microwave the potatoes until they’re heated through (like 20 minutes) and empty the insides into the bowl. Add sour cream, butter, cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon then mix using the flat attachment until creamy. Darling Husband goes nutty over these potatoes.

I also use my mixer to mix meatloaf or hamburger so that I don’t have to do it with my hands anymore. I’m able to spice up my recipes since I don’t have to worry about my hands getting totally disgusting.

The mixer is handy for shredding chicken, too (just did that tonight actually). Put the boiled chicken in the bowl, use the flat attachment and put the splash guard on. Set the mixer at 1 and the chicken will shred in like a minute. Saves lots of time by avoiding the fork method.

Have fun with your mixer! You’re gonna love it!

I should also add that I have the Kitchenaid Pro so I don’t know if that makes a difference as far as my suggestions go.
