The ruffles and pleats just don’t look right.  I don’t think they know what they’re doing.

@Nava11182005:  They do look similar but IMO the white one looks much better. It seems to have more of the pretty ruffles. Also the back flower thing on the gray one looks really strange compared to the white one. What company did you use may I ask?

They’re not the same that’s for sure, but they’re not supposed to be exactly the same because of copyright issues… I don’t know why they didn’t do the front tiers/layers the same as the the grey one, why all the “flowers” cascading down the front of the dress? And why is the one they made with a zipper instead of the corset?  The flower at the end of the train is okay but not great. Those are the things that bother me when I saw the difference.

All in all, if I didn’t know about the grey one, I feel that they did a “good” job.

I think the white version is beautiful.

However, the silver one, I think it looks more like what the mother of the bride would be wearing.  The ruffles look harsh to me, and is that flower on the train real?  it looks odd

I think the white one looks great… The gray one looks weird.  I’m glad yours is the white one!

@Ms.GoodEarth:  From my understanding she has the gray one. I may have read it wrong but she said “The white is what they say they made and silver / gray what I choose”. I agree with you though the white one does look great and not like the gray one at all.

I think the train on the silver one is a lot shorter than the white one. And they just need to add more layers of ruffles on the flower thing in the back and in the front where they meet.

Honestly, I think it’s a decent copy considering that the price difference is probably significant. To me, it looks like the grey dress is just made with a much cheaper, much more stiff material. And there is less of it generally – a lot less ruffles. That’s part of what makes the dress a lot cheaper. Cutting costs has to mean some of this.

Still, I’m very sorry you’re disappointed. It’s hard when we sometimes have a vision in our heads and reality doesn’t quite live up to it. How much time until your wedding? (I was a bit confused by the 2005). Hopefully they make the changes, but do you still have the option of finding something else if you’re not happy?

    Good luck!

I don’t think the gray one is terrible, the flower on the train is strange but it is a nice dress still.

In saying that, it isn’t a very good replica of the one you want. I doubt they made the white dress in their pictures. Which company are you using?

Ohhh.. Ok I misunderstood, sorry! I thought the white was the original designer dress you wanted copied! I always assume that the photos on those sites are the original dress, not their copies (At least when I looked into it almost two years ago, all of the sites appeared to use the designers on model photo).

Yeah, that’s a completely different fabric and feel between what is supposedly an “original copy” and the “copy of the copy.” If I’m understanding this correctly now, I would be mad as well if they specifically lied to you.

    I’m sorry.
