As I have mentioned numerous times previously on here, I have a tiny wedding dress budget. I am trying to shop around like crazy to make sure I have uncovered every single option I have.
Anyone know of any other wedding gown vendors that I can shop online or in store that are a nice quality at a reasonable price point? Think J Crew and Anne Taylor. I love the quality, prices, and overall feel of what they have, but no individual dress is quite on point.
I don’t need an evening gown style wedding dress as we are eloping and my budget is ~500. Tippy tip top 900-1000 if I must for “the dress.”
Thank you ladies.

look online at preownedweddingdresses.com and oncewed.com. You can get used dresses. I just purchased one today. Also, I am using a dressmaker on etsy who specializes JCrew-like dresses for waaaay less than JCrew. The one I bought today will be my backup, should my made dress not work. They Etsy shop is Annabel an’ Ruby. I obviously can’t vouch for her, as I haven’t even ordered construction on a dress. But so far, communication has been great and she has good reviews on Etsy.

My budget was around that as well. BHLDN has some pretty ones around $600. I ended up getting mine from David’s Bridal — I really wasn’t expecting to find my dream dress there, but I did! It’s worth checking out, they have all kinds of dresses and they’re willing to work with your budget.

I’m getting a custom dress done by Lauren Elaine, so I can’t speak of the quality firsthand but the dresses they have listed on preownedweddingdresses.com are really affordable. http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/dresses/salon/california-couture-curator I really like the “Cambria” design and the simple tulle dresses, I think it’s from her more recent collection. They’ve been very pleasant to work with so far and they have a physical location in Los Angeles.

freshflowers: Definitely look at BHLDN (it’s the Anthropologie wedding site). They have some beautiful dresses at reasonable prices.

I had a lot of inspiration from bhldn, dillards, bloomingdales, badgleymischka.com, tadashi shojis own website….all the big names in formal wear have dresses that could be bridal. Also, hate to admit it but promgirl.com

If I had it to do over, I would go to a wedding dress consignment shop. The dresses are worn once or never worn, they start at half of retail, and they’re negotiable.
If you live near Charlotte, NC, here is the one where I consigned my own dress:

I basically cannot think for myself anymore thanks to Anthropologie. Our entire home is basically from that store :p
