I’m searching for a good plant-based skin care product (mostly cleansers and lotion).
I’ve stopped using my current skin care products due to being pregnant and finding out that some of the chemicals used in such products are either a no-no in pregnancy or have unknown effects. I’d rather play it safe 🙂
Before my wedding I had a facial and was told that I should still use some sort of cleanser and that plant-based would be the safest. My facial was done with Eminence products, but the women suggested that I went with a cheaper product. She mentioned Primavera, which she said was a great product and was cheaper, however when I checked it out online it’s almost double Eminence price. Neither of these products are sold in my area and I would really like to “see” them before purchase.
I was just wondering if anyone found some products that they love or had any recommendations?

@Beluga: I like their chapstick and some of their lotions. Is the night cream greasy tho? I feel like some of their lotions are on the more greasy side which I’m not a fan of, plus I have some combination/oily skin which is also sensitive (lucky me).

Pevonia Botanica is all natural. It totally changed my skin. I highly recommend their exfoliator, Clarigel.

@Meowkers: Oh manybe that is the one she mentioned! I wrote it down as I was leaving the salon but didn’t know how to spell it (terrible speller here). It sounded like provera which is what I wrote, but KNOW that’s wrong.

Try Clovertree Apothecary! I LOVE the fruit enzyme line. And their lotions are perfect! Not greasy at all.

I like this stuff:

I started using this:

And I love it! I recommend searching the ‘skindeep’ website to find products- that is how I found this company.
