Normally I really love boys names for girls; however, for some reason I just can’t go for this one.

It may be because I have known a Kyle as a female. I haven’t known a female kaden but kaden seems like it could be more feminine than Kodi. I just feel like if you are going to use a masculine name for a girl the masculine names in the family need to be more masculine, do you know what I mean?

I don’t really like the name Kodi for a guy or a girl, honestly.  But, if you guys like it, then go for it.  You guys are the ones who will have to use that name on a daily basis.

I like guys names for girls usually, but I also like the name Kensington – that’s my go-to K name.  You can also do Katie (might be too close to Kaden).

Personally not a fan of male names for girls, especially ones that are not even kind of uni-sex, Cody (and thus, Kodi) to me will always be a manly man name. There are lots of K names that are a little more feminine.

I like it 🙂 I knew a couple of girls named Codi with a “C” growing up, so maybe I’m biased.

    Don’t love it, personally.

Kelly? Katherine (could go by Katie)? Kelsey?

I usually love girls names that could also be boys names, but the spelling of this one really irks me.  I’d prefer it as Cody or  maybe Codi.

Definitely not a fan of Kodi.

If you want to stick with a K name, what about any of these?

    • Kimberly

@mamadingdong:  My thoughts exactly.  I can’t picture a CEO or supreme court justice named Kodi.
