Sure. It happens on all the registries, and especially Macy’s. Things go on sale all the time, and if people are savvy enough to catch the sale, they get really good deals and buy more things.

I wouldn’t delete it, since there’s still shopping time left. It used to drive me nuts when brides changed their registries every other minute.

It also may be because Kohls is notorious for raising prices then having a sale. I never buy from there until at least Thursdays. On Fridays/ Saturdays, they have their big sales plus either coupons or Kohls cash. Sundays, the sale prices are still there, but you usually don’t have their “night owl”/ “early bird” pricing that you do on Friday/ Saturdays. It’s crazy. I love them, but you seriously just need to shop on weekends there.

Kohls always has sales on and off very frequently. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

@lealorali:  I’ve noticed the same thing, however, in my family most people are Kohl’s credit card members and get the coupons and know not to buy anything from there unless it’s on sale. I just hope that people only buy stuff when it’s on sale because otherwise some of the things are wayyyy cheaper at other places. My quantities did not change but it seems as though something is off with their registry because we have received multiples of a lot of things and that hasn’t happened at the other places we have registered.

I used to work at Kohl’s.  I can’t say what happened with the quantity situation.  But Kohl’s has different sales all the time usually 3-4 per week (most department stores have weekly sales).  They’ll have a main sale and then run other sales over top of it.  Its also required that so many items be regular price dring a certain time frame.  That’s why they run the BOGO sales.  It could be that a BOGO sale is running and that’s why you’re seeing a price increase.  As for getting 2 vacuums, Kohl’s has a great return policy so you can always return one and use the money to buy something else.  I wouldn’t sweat it too much or delete it.  You can fix the remaining quatities that are wrong online and I’m sure the prices will change soon.

I had some weird things happen with my Kohl’s registry too. It wouldn’t always update when someone purchased something so we got two crockpots (Kohl’s does have an excellent return policy though, so that wasn’t that big of a deal) and it wouldn’t always link to our Wedding Website. Sometimes if you click on it it would show up and be fine, but othertimes it couldn’t find us… it was very annoying. Our prices changed too, but that’s only because the items went on sale, which was good for our guests!

I hate logging in to Kohl’s registry too.  I didn’t have issues with the quantity of items, I had more issues with items being discontinued frequently.  I had to change my sheets and comforter set a few times and it’s not like I registered very early out, I registered 6 months before the wedding.

@lealorali:  I was registered with Target and Belk. While some items were on sale when I registered for them and some items went on sale later, I never noticed an actual price increase.

I really don’t like Kohls very much at all. Their homegoods are fine and I can usually find sneakers on sale there. However, their clothing and accessories are generally poor quality.
