I need your help as to what to do with favors. I know they arent essential, but I would like to do a little something. My fiance loved the koozie idea with “To have and to hold and to keep you drink cold”. We werent going to put our names or date on it so that maybe more people would use it. We are both college students with alot of drinkers in our friends and family, but Im still afraid it will be too tacky or people wont take them home.
Our other option is a popcorn bar with little baggies labeled with something cute. People could take bags home with them (or would they?) and they could snack on it through out the night.
I want to do something other than the standard crap with names that gets thrown away. Our colors are different colors of pinks and white….so I am kind of limited on the colors for the koozies. Any help or opinions on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

I think a popcorn bar is much more fun.
Personally, I always think it would be great to have a koozie and I often take free ones, but then I find them weeks or months later, and I’m like, why do I have this thing, and it gets thrown away. I like beer (though am not indulging currently–pregnant) and Darling Husband drinks beer almost every day; we just really don’t use them.

Koozies definitely set the tone as extremely casual and In My Humble Opinion are too casual for any wedding.

We are a big drinking & party group as well. We have multiple beer koozies from friends weddings and we use them a lot. Our friends do as well, but we are having a destination wedding so it’s a little more relaxed. I don’t think it is too casual for a wedding at all – it’s YOUR wedding so you can do whatever you want. The popcorn idea is cute but I don’t think they’d get used again since you guys are college age, but they would probably enjoy it at the wedding. I went to a bar in Milwaukee a couple months ago that had baskets of popcorn at every table. Not going to lie, popcorn & beer went together quite nicely. haha!! The beer koozies would appeal more to your population though. (Then again, we are late 20s and still enjoy beer koozies). We are making beer koozies for our wedding that say “Eat, Drink, & Be Married” because I’m a huge Dave Matthews Band fan. You could easily make grey koozies with pink writing. Could be super cute.

@stephcramer1: I always tend toward an edible Favour. Also, if you have your tablescape in mind, do 10 foam coozies suit it?
Ive personally never used a coozie. Maybe I’m a pretentious prude but we typically pour our beverages into glasses in our home. Haha.

A friend used koozie favors at their wedding two years ago and we still use them to this day. Much more lasting than popcorn in my opinion, although the popcorn does sound cute!

Popcorn! It is a great idea.

I like the popcorn idea since Fiance and I are not drinkers. You should go with what you want though.

I would vote popcorn. The coozies would be cool, but I think they’re way too casual for a wedding. I just can’t see them matching wedding decor, unless you are having a very casual BBQ type of wedding.

I would vote popcorn. I wouldn’t take a koozie, so it would be completely wasted on me. But popcorn is a good snack, especially if it’s a night wedding.

i vote for popcorn favor – it’s more unique and you can never go wrong with edible favors!
