Is anyone doing kraft invites?
Or seen them done?
Or know of a good site where I can buy them?
It’s driving me nuts… I find just kraft envelopes or just kraft cardstock… never them together!
Would love any and all input on all things kraft from you ladies! 🙂

What is it that you need? A source for the cardstock and envelopes? Or a site that will design them for you?

I LOVE cardstock. I know that Paper Source carries some Kraft cardstock/envelopes and other cute Kraft stuff too….
We’re planning to have Kraft invites too though so I’ll be doing A LOT more research and will report back!

I am planning on going the DIY route, so yes just kraft cardstock and envelopes from somewhere together would be great! I will just get them printed myself.
I have found that a lot of sites either have one or the other, not a matching set of cardstock and envelopes. I don’t want to buy them seperate since there are so many variations of browns for kraft.
I looked at PaperSource and didn’t see the kraft… do you have a link?
@stripes what will your invites look like? Do you have any links to your inspiration?

Also… anyone getting negative feedback from others about wanting kraft paper invites?
I keep hearing how “untraditional” and “non-wedding like” it is.

Paperandmore.com has some. They had really good pricing on pocketfolds and paper, so hopefully the pricing is good on kraft paper stuff too.
I think it would look cool to use the sand speckled one for the envelopes to contrast.

I second paperandmore.com, I ordered the taupe recycled pocketfold as a sample, it was really nice and looked a LOT like kraft paper (just with the little flecks/fibers of recycled). I thought they were pretty cool, but we ended up going with dark brown ones in the end.
I got all my paper from them for printing invites, and it was a great price with cheap shipping.
Its cheap and easy to get samples from them, they are all about $0.50-$1.00 per with I think $1 shipping, way better than the prices I’ve seen other places for samples.

I did a diy STD and used kraft paper as a backing, I also used kraft square envelopes, I think I got it from paper and more and my envelopes from envelope mall.. I had a hard time finding kraft card stock, I think the thickest I could find was #60.. so I ended up using a heavy linen card stock with the print on and the kraft card stock as a backing.. I have a picture posted..
I LOVE the kraft paper, I’m going to use it for my invites too! The only problem I have with it is it seems a bit flimsy, so I’ll probably line my envelopes for my invites

this is so far after the initial post, but our envelopes are kraft and i’m not worried at all about what people think – however our wedding is casual, rustic and very DIY – so i doubt anyone suspects fancy from us.
here’s our invites with envelopes.
